gastroenteritis aka stomach flu on top of IBS       06/07/13 02:45 PM Edit Reply Quote seashell Reged: 05/22/09 Posts: 25 Loc: CA, USA I haven't had the "stomach flu" for a long time. I just got it a few days ago with the classic symptoms including fever, chills, massive headache, etc.. I hated to do it but the pain was so severe I got on Advil for about 24 hours and now it feels like my GI tract is ripped to shreds. A little rice turns into a foamy factory. I've only had a cup of rice today and lots of water.
