I have a corn allergy. Corn, corn flour, corn syrup, corn starch, etc. And corn actually comes in many, many different forms. A lot of the things that are IBS no-no's are also things that are at their base made from corn (ie MSG). This is a good list of corn derivatives: http://www.cornallergysymptoms.com/corn-derivitives.aspx - Some I can have, some I can't. It depends on how sensitive you are to it.
I, of course, have no idea if you have it but I can't eat hardly any. If I do you'll know within a couple hours because I'm just really angry. This crazy aggression comes over me and suddenly everyone and everything is on my nerves.
Other people get excema, or IBS type symptoms, or a million other things.
If that ever happens to anyone else that reads here: I can take a good size dose of a liquid vitamin B complex and about 20 minutes later I'll be okay. More relaxed, etc. Sometimes it happens to me on accident. It gets pretty frustrating to eat for IBS, Corn Allergy, and Diabetes!
Good luck!
