From eating corn starch I get nausea and diarrea. I've got fructose malabsorption too (lucky me). I get very bad stomach pain/cramps from it. I get the same reaction from eating sucrose (table sugar) as from corn. I see Syl writes that corn starch is just glucose... So perhaps my problem is (ao) glucose ánd fructose??? I cán eat rice syrup, no problem. (and wheat!) But not: agave syrup (stomach pain), maple syrup (nausea), dextrose (stomach pain), fructose (stomach pain), sucrose (nausea) Can anyone make any sense out of this??! -------------------- PI-IBS-C/A nausea & very bad gastric pain meds: lansoprazol+macrogol started EFI +FODMAPs 1/2011.
