I'm interested to try the lactose-free milk actually because i'm fine with having a little normal milk in my tea/coffee so i'd quite like to give it a go. Was thinking it may be better for my body than normal milke. But then, if my body's handling this then maybe i don't need to try the lactose-free stuff...
I totally agree with you, we do all have different tolerance levels and our triggers can be individual. For example, wheat is the worst thing i can eat for my IBS. Just one bite bloats my stomach up like a balloon almost immediately after eating it and i'm then constipated for a week! But i can handle chocolate and alcohol in small quantities.
