I called the company that makes Zelnorm and they won't allow anyone, including themselves, to sell Zelnorm anymore.
I called to complain...they are encouraging people to call and they are registering the phone calls to give to the FDA.
I also googled FDA and submitted an email telling them how this will effect peoples lives. People who would rather take the risk of anything happening to them in order to have access to this drug.
You can read the comments from the FDA and tell them your story at web page . Honestly, it looks like we are out of luck. Even if they allow certain severe people to have the drug, most likely the insurance companies won't cover it anymore. It costs more than 250 dollars for a months supply.
I had a prescription for this waiting to be picked up for a week at the pharmacy. I waited to today to pick it up My insurance company had already removed the drug from their coverage.
