I took Zoloft (and then prozac after Zoloft gave me bad headaches) a few yrs back, during a time when I was suffering miscarriages (4 late ones in a row, from 1995 thru 1997). I didnt take them for IBS.
One thing I have found though...daily aerobic exercise helps stem the deep aspect of depression, which I still suffer from. I find after a good workout (one complete with an endorphin rush from intense exercise for the last 15 mins or so), I am in a cloud of euphoria! Lasts a few hrs too.
