Michelle, Oh, absolutely you can put it in your coffee. That's exactly what I do. It dissolves very fast in hot fluids. I don't get get your doc's comment. Miralax is just polyethylene glycol, it has no fiber in it what so ever.It's just a good osmotic laxative. I would say it's the cadillac of osmotic laxatives, but nothing to do with fiber. -Bob
