I'm really worried about your symptoms - your arms going numb and sharp chest pains, plus achey joints, are NOT a part of IBS. I would make sure that your docs have tested you for inflammatory bowel diseases like Crohn's and ulcerative colitis, and for celiac as well. Sometimes numbness and constipation are early symptoms of multiple sclerosis, but you have diarrhea instead, so I don't know what to make of that. Please let me know how things go.
