The crawfish are pretty easy to eat once you get the hang of it.
They have a seafood station as part of the buffet every day.
The best night to go for seafood is Monday. That is Seafood Night. That is when the crab legs and oysters and such come out.

I've TRIED to follow this thread...but got lost (I'm blonde ya know) WHERE are you guys talking about? Shane & I come in Friday about 9am... so we will be there for dinner time as well. Do they have stuff other then seafood? (Shane is not a big seafood person)

It has been several years since I ate at the Excaliber and at that time the buffet was really bad. I am sorry to hear about Treasure Islands buffet. White rice and Peel and eat Shrimp use to be served every day. The Orleans is my very favorite buffet in Vegas. There has always been a good variety there. They have a seafood section, a mexican food, Chinese, Italian, Mongolian and American food sections too. I can usually find a good meals worth of choices by taking a little from each station. I did hear that the RIO has a good buffet, but they are pretty pricey compared to some other good places.

I don't think, from reading this that shane will have any problem finding something he likes. In fact it's been my experience that most of the buffets can satisfy almost any taste. After all, they want you coming back to gamble and having a good buffet has historically been the way to do it. Now days the fancy-schmancy 4 star restaurants are even more popular, but if you're going on the cheap, this is not a bad way to go. I opt we who are there by Fri. night join Leslie at the Nahlins (love slang-LOL). We can set a time and a bunch take a cab there since it's OFF the strip, or if she's willing to pick us up at a predetermined spot at a certain time, ride with her. (Thanks Leslie for the offer.) Whatcha think gang?

It does sound good but I'm going to pass. I don't get in Friday until later and my cousin from Ceasers is picking me and I'll spend time with her and my other cousin from the Mirage. I will post my cell phone number later and catch up on Saturday.
