I really can't help you much as far as food/drink goes, because I am still in my own experimental stages.

But, I can identify with your dilemma as far as IBS-A. It is very frustrating. I can have both in one sitting A and C, so how do you treat that? Do you treat the C or treat the A? If you treat one, if flips you to the other. Mine used to be a bi-monthly type thing, but now it seems to switch daily or weekly.

One thing you might want to think about is, since you just had a baby, your changes could be hormone related at this point in your life. You stated that you used to be able to eat more than what you can eat now. Were you able to do that right up until the baby was born? Maybe after your hormones settle down back to normal, so will your ability to eat.

I am also a homebody and have been most of my life, but I find lately I am more so than I used to be. I have long thought I have a social phobia (since I do suffer from GAD), before the IBS ever kicked in.

I am thinking of trying the hypno cds and Mike has some anxiety cds coming out soon. You might want to look into that and read up on how this had helped many.
