Just a few things about Crohn's Disease
      04/18/09 04:33 AM

Hi,
I am a mother of a 16 year old who was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease at age 15. He is suspected to have had it since he was 12. JB at present is taking Imuron... and I have taken him to a holistic girl who is also treating him with various herbs and vitamins.. As a Mom, I am personally dealing with this disease as an active bystander.. JB once again is sick but I have discovered that he has quit taking his imuron and is picking and choosing what vitamins to take.. This is an ongoing problem with him and I am so tired of fighting with him... I absolutely hate this disease.. I equate it to the likings of an uninvited stranger... How do I get a I am not going to do this teenager to take his meds.... I will admit that our experiences with the medical profession probably has left a very bad taste in my son's mouth, but he won't talk about having the disease he either gets mad, cries or walks away... I can't help him unless he lets me .....
