need help for constipation

I have Ulcerative Colitis and IBS. While my colitis appears to be in remission, my IBS is taking it's toll on me. I am having terrible problems with constant constipation, bloating, and gas. I feel "pregnant" and uncomfortable everyday. I never seem to fully evacuate when I go to the bathroom. Does anyone have any advice? I am desperate for some relief and I can't keep taking laxatives.
