Sorry to hear of your diagnosis, but at least now you know something. To briefly share my experience, I had UC symptoms for 8 years. They couldn't diagnose me at the beginning either. They thought it was IBS for a year or so. Scopes showed nothing, not even inflammation. After being sick and tired of being sick and tired, as well as always having to try new and different drugs and not getting "well" again (the drugs just masked the symptoms), I researched on my own and found out that UC has a fungal/yeast etiology. So, after waiting 6 months, humming and hawing, (I was a HUGE skeptic that anything "natural" would work), I tried an antifungal program. Within 2 weeks, I was virtually symptom free. Cause/effect. And the part the ticks me off is that every doctor I saw over those 8 years, insisted that diet would have no effect, even though I knew that when I eliminated certain foods I felt so much better...."Coincidence," I think they said.

Anyway, I know of, and have been in contact with others who have noticed reduced symptoms when following such a program.If you want more info, you can email me.
