Look at the date, April 28th. My wife still has not delivered yet, unbelievable!

We had to wait two weeks for the laminaria to arrive, started the "umbrella" on Monday, doubled it on Tuesday and were told on Wednesday we were good to go Thursday or Friday.

We received a call Wednesday night to be at the hospital for 8 am Friday only to be turned around and sent home as there were not enough beds. The charge nurse said she would call us in the afternoon to bring us back in again. All I could do was laugh, this is now 4 weeks since we found out the baby had passed. My wife, not in the laughing mood and became very emotional and angry..but, we went home.

Still no call at 2:30 pm so I called them before our girls came home from school to see us (it was a rough morning departure for the youngest and mom). They said to come up, just preping the room for us now.

Ten minutes later we are there only to be taken into a training room and told our OB was gone and the OB on staff was not comfortable with our case!! I couldn't believe this, my wife sat down and said "we are not leaving this time".

So they contacted our OB, preped our room and he began the inducing process at 4pm. He told us that he would be back in a few hours to follow up. Well its now 2:20am, he is not here, didn't call and the OB on call will not look at my wife. Our nurse just came in and told us to bed down for the night as we have to wait until the next OB comes in at 8am.

My wife is lying here a few feet away from me, she is furious, but has not shown the staff her anger.

Not much we can do, just wait until the morning I suppose and start this all over again.
