Crunchy Skillet-Browned Garlic New Potatoes from EFI

I just thought of this w/ all the posts on favorite EFI recipes. How long does it take you guys to make this? I loved the end result, but it seriously took like TWO HOURS to get all the water to evaporate. We ended up having the potatoes for dessert instead.

I'm positive I didn't put in too much water, and I'm positive that I turned the heat up high enough. (it was probably too high, it kept wanting to creep over to boiling) What else could I have done wrong??
