I am a married 40 year old with 4 sons- the youngest is 2yrs old. I was a special education teacher, but am now disabled due to daily migraines with blackouts, thoracic outlet syndrome, & fibromyalgia. My husband, who is an orchestra teacher, and I both have IBS-D. He has had it for about 5 yrs- me for only about 2yrs. His has been controlled w/probiotics- mine is not. My mother and one of my sisters also have IBS Mom's is IBS-c, Sis is IBS-D. There must be a family link.
