Bio I was just recently diagnosed with IBS after finally seeing a gastroenterologist in 8/04. I'm 31 and have had this at least as far back as junior high but remember having bouts in elementary school after going out to eat. I have 2 daughters, ages 3 and 5. My mom has suffered for many years and encouraged me to seek help because she never did.
