I'm 29 years old, married and mother to two kids. In 2003, I self diagnosed IBS-D and began treating it as such by changing my diet completely. After 10 years of daily outbreaks, I have been outbreak FREE since changing my diet. Well ok, except for that night I devoured fettucine.  In 2004 my OB/GYN all, but confirmed my IBS-D and refered me to a specialist for the "ruling out process".
