You sure can... and here's a recipe! I just happened to have this printed out already because I wanted to try it. This says to use firm tofu, but I made a similar spread using XF silken and it was fine!

Strawberry Tofu Spread
(Makes 2 cups)

12 ounces firm tofu, drained
8 tablespoons strawberry preserves, all fruit type like polaner
2 tablespoons honey
2 teaspoons lemon juice

1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth.
2. Scoop mixture into a container for storage in the refrigerator.
3. Use within 2 weeks.

Are you drinking soy milk already? I started using tofu after already having the milk at least once a day and it didn't bother me at all, probably because my body was already used to the soy. If you haven't been having any soy products I would start out with smaller amounts, but I bet it won't be a problem if you're just using some on your bagel.

Kree I made this last night and its extremely lumpy. I could not get it smooth for the life of me. I think Silk tufu might work better. i am going to try that tonight.

Thanks for the pointer, Dina. When I made a similar one I used silken, so I had no clue how regular would work. I hope the silken works better for you... it should!
