Wheat free baking mix

I just purchased from our local health food store, Arrowhead Mills Wheat free all purpose baking mix.
It has Organic whole grain brown rice flour, tapioca starch,organic potato starch,baking powder, fava bean flour and sea salt.
Looks pretty IBS friendly.. Here's one for waffles

1 cup wheat free flour
1 egg ( egg subsitute )
1/2 cup water
1/8 cup canola oil
1 tbsp honey

Beat all liquids, add dry ingredients and mix well.
Pour onto hot waffle iron and cook.

Top with your favorite IBS safe sryup or jam.

Sherri, I've seen this mix in the health food stores, and others just like it but made by a different company. The only thing that stopped me from buying it was the bean flour. Have you ever tasted that stuff just by itself? OMG, it is sooooo bad. I bought some a long, long time ago and it tasted so bad I threw it out before I even got anything made with it. But maybe in this mix you don't notice it. What do ya think?

My favorite GF pancake mix is a GF Wild Rice Pancake Mix but I forget who makes it. It has the nicest taste of all of them, or at least I think so.

I think I forgot to ask, why are you eating GF/WF these days?

I dislike the bean flour also but didn't notice it in this mix when I tried it.

Haven't tried it yet plan to make some biscuits with it and see how they taste. Never have had bean flour before either.

From what I remember I used it for biscuits mainly and they were very good. After being on the SCD diet, they were like gold to me, I never had something taste so good........lol.
