I used Heather's chicken pot pie recipe the other night. I didn't have powdered chicken broth, so I made a substitution. I reduced the amount of soy milk to 1 cup and used 1/2 cup of liquid chicken stock. This worked out just fine.

how much chicken did u use? it says Two 1 lb. skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cooked and diced

would that be like 2 big skinless boneless or like 4 smaller ones?

would any kind of pot work, like one of those tinfoil ones for pies,or a bread pan,or a heart shaped cake pan? I don't have a roller..can I do without?

have u made Winter Squash & White Bean Soup ? I had questions on that, like do u not cook the squash then peel and cube,or do u cook it first, and whats northern bean,do u get at wal mart?

You can use chicken broth - that will work.

Use about a pound of chicken breasts - that's about 2-3, depending on their size. Meat packages are labeled with weight. Also remember that when you're cooking (as opposed to baking), exact measurements don't matter. If you only have a half pound of chicken, it's not going to ruin your pot pie. It will just be less meaty than it otherwise would.

I've never made the soup you're referring to, so I'm no help there.
