try cutting the margarine quantity in half, and choose a non-hydrogenated variety so the oil is heart-healthy.

Yes I tried these. I and my family found they were a little dry and tasted like flour. Maybe if I make them again; I will decrease the flour. I used strawberry yogurt. Sue

I made them I got the original recipe from a diabetic cookbook. I tailored it to be IBS friendly. I agree the will taste a little flourly, add some fruit to them or a favorite fruit yogurt. I use blueberry soy yogurt and added a little more tham usual. Try them I think you would like them. The original recipe called for wheaties cereal.
Play with the recipe to get your right texture and taste.

I made these bars with vanilla soy yogurt and I found a safe cereal called Koala Crisp. My margarine is also safe, vegan with no hydrogenated oils. I used all the same measurements and my entire family likes them.

Thanks so much for the recipe!

Oh this is exactly what I was looking for!
I have a sweet tooth in the afternoon and if I do not have a healthy snack I hit my daughters goodies which are so bad for me.

THANKYOU!!
