These are yummy.
Turkey Burgers with Special Sauce

Serve these great summertime burgers with table grapes for a refreshing and light meal.

1/4 cup chopped green onions
2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
1 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce
1 teaspoon finely chopped peeled fresh ginger
1 garlic clove, minced
1 pound ground turkey breast
Cooking spray
1/2 cup Special Sauce
4 (1 1/2-ounce) whole wheat hamburger buns
4 curly leaf lettuce leaves

Prepare grill.
Combine first 6 ingredients in a large bowl. Divide turkey mixture into 4 equal portions, shaping each into a 3/4-inch-thick patty. Place patties on grill rack coated with cooking spray; grill 6 minutes on each side or until done.

Spread 2 tablespoons Special Sauce over top half of each bun. Place lettuce leaves on bottom halves of buns; top each with 1 patty and top half of bun. Cut each burger in half.

It's going to be higher in fat. I can tolerate it if I have it with mucho Soluble Fiber but to tell you the truth I don't really like it. If you're nervous about eating it, try freezing it in small batches then mix it with ground turkey breast as you use it. You can mix it half and half or even with more ground breast and less ground turkey. That way you don't waste what you've already bought.

Just make sure the total meal is low in fat and you should be fine. Try to get the leaner next time.

sounds good.I was wondering if any of the ingredients can be eliminated or substituted? such as mayo? like vegenaise or something? recipes looks like too much IF for me. Maybe eliminate the sauce?

That original recipe called for wheat buns but you can use white buns; it makes no difference. Chop the scallions fine or leave out but please don't try leaving anything else out. Any kind of mayo, including vegennaise, will work for the sauce. If you don't make the sauce the burgers won't be delicious.
