This is a dish that agrees with me.

Cutlets in sauce
Ing:
1 lb. mince (I use chicken)
1 onion (cut fine)
2 green chillies (remove seeds and cut fine)
1/2 inch ginger (cut fine)
2 cloves garlic (cut fine)
1/2 tsp mixed spice (this is called garam masala which you can get at the Indian store)
1 egg beaten
dry bread crumbs
salt and vinegar to taste (I use lemon instead of vinegar)

Method:
Mix the above ingredients together except dry bread crumbs. Divide into approx. 12 portions - roll each portion into a ball, then flatten into a cutlet shape, coat on all sides with dry bread crumbs and lightly shallow fry.

Sauce:
1 onion
1/2 tsp each garlic & ginger paste
a pinch of chillie powder (optional)
1 can tomatoes (28 ozs.)(You can use fresh tomatoes)
salt to taste
Few Raisens (optional)

Method:
To prepare sauce chop onion and fry in oil. Then add garlic, ginger, chillie powder and salt to taste. Add the can of tomatoes, mix and mash well, bring to a boil and add raisins.

Place cutlets in a pyrex dish and pour the sauce over. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees F for about 20 minutes. Serve hot.
