Even my DH loves this recipe and he usually sticks his nose up at my IBS recipes!!!!

Chicken Stroganoff
1 lb. chicken cut up (I usually use the pre-cooked, pre-diced chicken from Schwans)
1 can mushrooms
1 1/2 c chicken broth
2 garlic cloves minced (I don't use this much)
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp paprika
2 T flour
1 C. Tofutti sour supreme
hot cooked yolk-free noodles

Cook chicken, onions and mushrooms until chicken is no longer pink, add broth, garlic, salt and paprika. Cover and simmer for 10 min. Combine flour and sour supreme until smooth, add to skillet and bring to a boil and cook 2 min or until thickened. Serve over noodles. 4 Servings

Sour Supreme is actually pretty good unlike many soy products. It lasts longer than sour cream too.

Started to make this tonight. Instructions say to cook chicken, onions, and mushrooms, but Ingredients list doesn't contain onions. Can you tell me how much onion to use?

Thanks.

This looks fantastic! Just one comment... personally, I'd be worried about all the fat from that much Sour Supreme. I'm sure you could also use drained soy yogurt in place of half or more to lower the fat!

I've never drained yogurt.... about how long does it take? I'm wondering if I start it before I go to the gym.... would it be ready in 2 hours to use?
