Jello and fat free non-dairy whip topping! (I'm guessing this has already been posted...but I haven't sen it yet). You can even mix different colors for a "fancier" summer treat. It's great to be able to eat desert again!!!!!

Add some angel food cake and you have a blockbuster. I mush the jello into the cake as it is ready to set. Cut up the cake into pieces and put into a pan. Then top with fresh fruit (if desired) and whip topping.

You don't have a problem with non diary whipped topping? You are talking about cool whip right? I can't eat it. I get cramps and gas when I eat it.

Have you tried the ultra low fat version? Some people can't tolerate whipped toppings at all for some reason. I think Heather is one of them. I tolerate the ultra cool whip all the time.

I remembered you mentioning the ultra low fat cool whip with the angle food cake. I looked for it and couldn't find it. All I can find is regular, low fat and fat free. There is just something in it that makes me crampy.

Casein--all forms of Cool Whip (as far as I know) contain casein, which is a dairy protein. Hence the cramping. There's a vegan "Cool Whip" called Hip Whip, but I haven't tried it--has anyone? Here's the web page
