I had a mango-banana smoothie at a juice bar on the weekend and feel in love. I just made one at home tonight. Yum.

- 2 cups vanilla soy milk
- 2 bananas, sliced
- 5-6 pieces frozen mango chunks
- 1 tablespoon of honey

Mix in blender until smooth and enjoy. It's so refreshing and yummy. I'm already addicted!

That sounds SO good... and I don't even like bananas! LOL Thanks for sharing that; I think I'll be picking up some fruit this weekend.

Try freezing your fruit first....i put bananas in a ziploc bag, flatten and smush them up first. Put them in the blender with frozen mango, yuuuuuuum. IT turns out thick and frosty, soooo yummmy. Love it love it love it. Give it a try, I know you will love it too. gayla

This is delicious - I used almond milk, which is a new discovery for me and added a capsule of liquid ginko biloba. I drank it slowly before taking off for work this morning (I made a smaller qty than the recipe says). I think it's helping me stabilize. Plus, because of the ginko biloba, I don't think I'll need my usual large tea, I feel alert and the best part is that I haven't had to run to the bathroom!!

Here's a trick for keeping bananas longer: When they start to turn and reach a point that is less apetizing for you, place them in the freezer and use for smoothies or banana bread. If you let them thaw, they'll be mushy, which can be good or bad; depending on what you are doing with them.
