Welcome to the spring 2004 edition of getting to know your friends. What you are supposed to do is copy (not forward) this entire e-mail and paste it onto a new e-mail that you'll send. Oh, yes it did It was premeditated. I was the closing manager for a Burger King back in 1992......one of the guys was MY FORMER manager.... and my S.O. & I at the time had been to his house and even hung out together. Anyway, it was closing shift and they were inside the lobby (my mistake) they were waiting for two of my employees (well, not really) to get off work and they were all gonna go out. Note: it was a husband and wife and the wife was my girlfriend since grad school. Anyway.... we were going to leave and the brother of the guy I knew pulled out a steak knife...I thought he was kidding. WELL, he was not!! He took the husband & wife and one other guy (who is probably at war now) into one of the bathrooms while the brother that I knew took me to the back office (I did not know he had a BUTCHER KNIFE in his coat until later). I emptied the safe.... he was saying his brother was MAKING him do it. He told me to sit down, but I did not.....I was pissed. I turned my back for a second to remove my ring thing he was take it and when I was putting it into my purse.... he stabbed me in the back. I WAS FIGHTING LIKE HELL.... he pushed me down, I was kicking and screaming for my friends but nobody came to help. He was stabbing me over and over again.....(over 20+ times) So, I grabbed the blade of the knife and kept fighting........I WON... I got the knife and chased him....as he was yelling to his brother....DO THEM DO THEM...SHE HAS MY KNIFE!!....I went into my office, locked the door....called 911...and watch the brothers run out the back door. The other came running in..... I was ready to faint by this time..... lucky my girlfriend KNEW the parents phone number and she called them. I did not know if I was going to live or die..... I was taken in the ambulance......(blood spurting everywhere). I was taked to the best trama center and cared for...... I'M ALIVE and the bastards are in jail.... at least for a few more years!!

It happened in 1992...
I was in the hospital for just a few days....
Lots of stitches and and biggest ones (two that kind of connected) and made one BIG ONE..on my left breast..were pack and healed from the inside out....hard to explain...my Mom had to remove the gauze each day and put sulfur (the stuff in matches) inside with like BIG cotton swabs....she is a nurse, but HATED doing it do her daughter....I would cry and yell every time.
I had fractured ribs so I could not lay down all the way or I would not be able to breath....I slept in my grandfather's old lazy boy (note: about 4 years ago I got tattoo on my chest on the other side of the scars now.... has angel wings that are my grandfather....I was thinking of him when I was in the ambulance).
Then later I had radiation treatment on my chest and on my forehead (I still to this day can't feel anything around the scars on my forehead) and it caused some hairs not to grow back in again. BUT I'M ALIVE!!
I have flashbacks and really get emotional, and turn my head every time I see knives on TV or in movies......but then I remember what I did...and then a snap out of it and turn proud!
