What's the story with Edamames, they're not on the list? Are they good or bad?

If you're following this site's efi (Eating for ibs) diet for sure, I would start with Heather's book, "The First Year: IBS," to help clarify and tame down flare-ups first. Later, I would try the soybean that is in the soluble fiber list in soluble v.s. insoluble info on this site. Soymilk can be used or ricemilk when starting diet. Edamame, soy in their pods, might be too rough for some;They were for me.

Heather, I read that you make big batches of this for about a week breakfast.. How do you keep this? Can you just leave it in the fridge for a week, or should it be in the freezer?
I never made this before but I think I'll try it next weekend.
