Just wanna say, I've been taking this probiotic for a couple months now and I really love it. Ingredients: L. acidopholus, B. bifidum, B. longum. Other ingredients: potato starch, gelatin, silicon dioxide.

The bottle lasts a month if you take one capsule a day, and it costs around 12 dollars at Wal-Mart.

Just thought I'd share.

Is this the first probiotic you have ever tried? Or have you tried other?

Are you a D, C, A? Or does it only help you with gas? I don't think align is doing anything for me except making me poor, financially.

Do you take a probiotic? If so, which one? Thanks.

I should, but I always forget to take them. I am not right now.

There haven't been many isolated strains shown to be effective for some symptoms of IBS, but this is one strain. Some people are helped with gas with them and perhaps then pain.

Bifidobacterium infantis 35624

Its in AlignŽ

I also have a smaples of Digestive Advantage Irritable Bowel Syndrome

I can't really recommend one other then to say just try one and see if it helps. There are a lot of different kinds, like activa yogurt , which my wife who also has IBS eats once in a while, she can go back and forth and it does seem to help her some. The new phillips colon health that Dana just tried and liked perhaps.

The gut bacteria are different in different people and even where they live. Someone in oregon doesn't really have the same as in say florida, because it helps protect us to our own environments. Foods, and even stress can mess with it all and change them.

It could be worth trying though and is not likely to hurt anything.
