I thought the baked chips were safe but after eating a small bowl of them yesterday I got gas, cramps and bloating with lots of pain. Do they have Olestra in them? Also was wondering if anyone else has trouble with Cranberry juice. It is a "safe" drink but made me feel really sick. Do any of you have trouble with some of the "safe" foods? Thanks!

Baked Lays and Baked Ruffles don't sit well with me, either, but I'm pretty sure they don't have Olestra. I can eat a single serving (about 12 chips) and not be too bothered, but more than that makes me ill, too.

Reduced fat Pringles (NOT fat-free) on the other hand, don't bother me.

Hmm, I'd check the ingredients on your packet. We don't have them over here but ingredients do change and HFCS and dairy pop up in the weirdest places.

Also, cranberry juice still shouldn't be drunk on an empty stomach or in large quantities. Plus everyone has their own tolerance levels.

I know! They don't sit very well with me, either. But, I love them!

I'm so sorry to hear that! They always seem to settle well with me.

I knew it!! I can't handle them either. It's the preservatives. Why are they listed as safe while other people have attacks with them?? Like oatmeal! It is so easy to make a mistake this way. To undo all of the hard work of getting stable. I made a post about those chips. I knew they were bad. Put warnings next to these food items!!

Sorry to hear. They are only fine for me if I eat a small amount after a meal...they still have a bit of fat in them so be careful eating them on an empty stomach.
