i was wondering if peppermint and caraway is good for dihhrea or constipated ibs, also if it slows down or speeds up intestinal motility, i know its an antispasmatic but will it slow things down and make constipated ibs worse? also thoughts on taking psyllium and flaxseed? i have had dihhrea dominet ibs for the past few months and the peppermint and carray worked good but now i have constipated ibs so will it slow things down and make the constipation worse? thanx mike

Read the diet guidelines again...or get "IBS: The First Year" and read that. Peppermint is mentioned alot and Caraway is mentioned in the book. Or do a search on here. Psyllium is a SFS, but a harsh one...are you not taking a SFS? They're pretty much essential for A's. Do a search on flax.
