Just threw this together and it was so good that I might quit this whole law thing and open my own restaurant
For one serving:
1/2 box frozen peas, thawed in the fridge 5 spears of asparagus that are about 5 days past fresh 1 lemon 1 4.5 oz can of swanson canned chicken salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder extra virgin olive oil
Blend the peas with some lemon juice and water as needed, in your blender. Add the asparagus spears, and blend until everything is pureed together nicely. Pour the mixture into a saucepan, add chicken, seasonings, and more lemon juice as desired. Heat until warmed through. Spoon into a bowl and top with a drizzle of olive oil. Enjoy. Pat yourself on the back for being such a darn fine cook with such nutritious eating habits. Return to couch to finish Unsolved Mysteries marathon.
This comes out really thick and creamy and is so satisfying. Hope you like it!

Actually, this sounds nearly identical to what I consumed for breakfast--minus the peas! (I have a "thing" about peas!) Chicken breast, asparagus, with a twist of lemon in the food processor.
A great combination, incidentally. It's pretty good with white tuna, as well. AND, if you can tummy it, fabulous with steamed baby spinach tossed in the mix!

Amanda, how big a box of peas did you use? And were the asparagus fresh or frozen...I'm assuming fresh. Do they need to be old?
What do you recommend as an SF to go along with it? Or is it safe as stated?
Thanks

I threw out the box so I'm really not sure -- probably about 2 cups, maybe? I really don't tend to measure. As for the SF, I was fine with just this but I'm fairly stable. I'd say have some french bread with it, or cook some potatoes and add those into the blender.
