IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages:
"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!

MINUS: 1 bizarre kickboxing class. Fitday says it's around 600 cals burned. I'll go with 500 to be safe. So minus 3 points.

pre-breakfast 1/2 cup applesauce
breafkast oatmeal with applesauce and almonds, egg whites scrambled with chiles and zucchini (pureed)
lunch (on the trail ) rice crackers and vegan salami, 2 Fruit-to-Go's
snack more rice crackers
dinner some bread and then pasta with the rest of the zucchini, chopped almonds and lima beans (yum! ate way too much at one sitting though... a whopping 600 cals! *I think we need a 'bloat' emoticon! lol), applesauce for dessert (and one small piece candy )

skipped a meal in here for a job interview (I was starving!) - I hate skipping meals, but then the interview went really, really well and it looks like I'll probably get the job, so I guess it was worth it!

snack oatmeal cooked with egg whites, applesauce and blueberries

totals
cals 2081
fat 27g (12%)
carbs 377g (68%)
protein 93g (19%)

exercise
2 hr hike with Andrew (bf) - it was GORGEOUS! We hiked to this beautiful waterfall just outside of town and stopped there for lunch and some relaxing reading then hiked back.
burned 580 calories, for a total of 2544 today!

Unidentified food object. Something that's not at all IBS safe. Occasionally newbies wander in here and get freaked out by people not following the diet all of the time, so it's easier just to put UFO and not answer questions.

Is this something everyone does every day? I like it...it's helpful to see what everyone else is doing.
I was suprised at the sesame chicken...don't the seed bother or get stuck in the bowel?
