What happened to baked Tostitos?
      #278327 - 08/14/06 08:30 PM

Has anyone else been discovering that they can't buy baked Tostitos at their regular grocery stores? I can't find them in their usual places in Denver. Were they taken off the market? Just wondering if anyone is experiencing the same problem.

Can't find them either new

I have not been able to find them for a very long time. I have been buying the tortilla chips at Trader Joe's or Reduced Fat Padrinos brand - both have 4 grams of fat.

I still have no problem finding them here in Canada. Strange that you can't find them in the US. Anybody visited the website to see if that will provide any info?

I can still get them here in Maine, as far as I know new

I haven't bought any in a long time, but the last time I was in the chip aisle, I saw pretty much every variety of baked chip there is, including the tostitos. That's pretty weird that you can't get them there!

I can't find baked tostitos either, however, I've always liked this brand of corn chip better.

New "Scoops" on the way in Sept!! new
      #278366 - 08/15/06 08:40 AM

I just called Frito Lay (the makers of Baked Tostitos and was told that they HAVE been discontinued, BUT good news is the new "scoop" shape will replace them starting in September, so you should be able to find them again really soon. I was told that there is NO change to them other then the shape!!
