Mangoes & Banana on an empty stomach....

Although mangoes and bananas are soluble fiber fruit - are they safe on an empty stomach?? I have been trying it once or twice and am not sure whether it is a good idea or not. Heather says to always eat soluble fiber first on an empty stomach but does fruit qualify in this respect.
Thankyou all.... (heres hoping anyway)

I've never had a problem with them on an empty stomach. They are soluble so you should be fine. Although, I have heard some say they have issues with bananas, so if they are bothering you, don't eat them on an empty stomach.

I haven't tried mangoes on an empty stomach, but I can sometimes handle bananas and sometimes not. I read on some post here that very ripe bananas are much easier to digest than not so ripe, so maybe trying the riper ones will help. (Unfortunately, I much prefer barely even ripe bananas.)

If you don't have your heart set on these fruits, I find applesauce always goes down easily. I start my mornings with hot tea (no caffeine, of course) and about a half-cup of applesauce with a teaspoon of acacia.

I've had both on an empty tummy with no problem whatsoever. I tend to blend the mango, i.e. puree it, though.

YES defintely ok. But it seems that some people just don't agree with bananas (or vice versa ) and there are people out there that have mango allergies. My mom is allergic to one kind of mango. I thought I was allergic to them too and papaya but I wasn't.
Just remember if it is mushy it is safe to eat as soluble fiber.

a personal thing or is it a D vs C thing? Meaning, people with C have more problems with it than people with D?

Or is it problems other than they tend to constipate some people?

I have C and never eat them because of fear of them causing worse C!
