I would like to take pepcid for some heartburn I am having

But I was wondering if it affects the xanax or any other antianxiety meds I was thinking if I took the pepcid ac in the morning and the xanax at night, I should be ok, does anyone have any experiences with this? Thanks, and hope all of you are doing ok.

I don't believe this should be an issue. I take Zoloft everyday and have a script for Xanax to take as needed. I also take Pepcid. I take the pepcid right with the Zoloft in the am and, luckily, at the moment, I'm not needed too much Xanax but I have also take the three of them together without any problems. They are totally different kinds of meds and shouldn't affect each other!
Some people do find that the gerd meds, like pepcid, when taken in high doses can cause some D in some people. Start off with the lowest dose of pepcid and you should be fine!
